“The budget Gov. Rick Snyder proposed today doesn’t do nearly enough to make up for the harm caused by last year’s budget. Our kids are still struggling to learn in overcrowded classrooms and in schools that can’t afford to buy textbooks or updated technology. The governor offered them no help. Instead, he proposes no increase to the per-pupil foundation allowance, leaving our kids further behind in the dust. I can’t accept that.”
