“It was disturbing to watch House Republicans today refuse to end pay-to-play in government contracting while approving a bill that will give a private contractor access to lucrative state corrections contracts. The owner of that company made a campaign contribution to the sponsor of the bill that grants the contract. The people of Michigan reject this kind of insider legislating and so should the Michigan House.”
