“Working families’ priorities are clear: fully funding our education system, ensuring government accountability, supporting small businesses and local governments, and protecting our seniors. The governor’s address tonight and his record over the past six years have proven that these priorities are not on his administration’s agenda. Instead, the Snyder administration, as with the continuing Flint water crisis, chooses profit over people. My agenda focuses on putting working families first by fully supporting our schools, universities, and our local governments, creating more and better jobs in Michigan, and bringing transparency and trust back to the Capitol. I look forward to working with my colleagues in this legislative session to address the real issues facing our state and to build a brighter Michigan for all of us.”
