I would like to thank Speaker Tom Leonard and Democratic Leader Sam Singh for showing their confidence in me by appointing me to serve as the Democratic vice chair of the House Energy Committee. All three of these industries are crucial for the successful functioning of our state, and they present great potential for impacting what the future of Michigan will look like, particularly in Washtenaw County, where we are working to provide affordable broadband access to all of our rural areas.
