LANSING — Tonight, Gov. Rick Snyder gave his final State of the State address. In response, state Rep. Jewell Jones (D-Inkster) issued the following statement:

“The governor spoke tonight about his accomplishments and the progress Michigan has made. However, too many people are still struggling to make ends meet and not enjoying the quality of life they deserve. I hope that this year, we will pursue policies that support more and better jobs, helping to create a robust economy that benefits everyone and enacting the Health Care Bill of Rights — so that working families across the state can support themselves and lead the kind of life they can be proud of.”
