LANSING — Gov. Rick Snyder gave his final State of the State address tonight. In response, state Rep. Sara Cambensy (D-Marquette) issued the following response:

“We need to keep working on creating good jobs for Michigan residents, and I invite the governor to join me in embracing Cleveland Cliffs as one of the most important industry leaders and employers in the economy of the Upper Peninsula’s 109th District. As the company works to rebuild, I want to help solidify the message that Michigan is the best place for this industry. U.P. residents and families need good jobs, and good jobs will encourage our young people to stay here and contribute to the U.P. economy instead of leaving and moving to other states to start their careers. I look forward to working with all of my colleagues to create more opportunity and an economy that works for all Michiganders.”
