BURTON — On Friday, state Rep. Tim Sneller (D-Burton) was presented with the Community Partnership Award from Genesee Health Plan in Genesee County. In response, Rep. Sneller issued the following statement:
“As a lifelong resident of Genesee County, I can attest to how critical Genesee Health Plan is to the success and well-being of our community. In Genesee County, we know that better than most how vital access to quality health care is, having endured one of the most appalling health crises imaginable in the 21st Century. Making sure people have access to the health care they need, at a price they can afford, has always been a priority of mine, and I am proud to have partnered with GHP to host a series of successful events, and to advocate on their behalf at the state Capitol. I am grateful for this honor, and will continue to fight in Lansing to ensure our community has access to the care they need.”
