“The YMCA’s Michigan Youth in Government is a wonderful program that teaches our future leaders about the workings of state government. These young Michiganders get to hone skills in communication and collaboration while developing a much deeper understanding about the legislative process. I am immensely proud to join the program on the board of directors and help educate more young people about how laws are made in their state. I am excited to see these young scholars grow into the future public servants of Michigan’s bright tomorrow.”
