While the budget this year is a slight relief from the drastic cuts experienced in recent years, Michigan continues to fall further behind. While more successful nations and states realize that education is the most effective economic development investment tool, Michigan still lags behind the competition. We can and should be a leader in education once again. Our children deserve it, our businesses deserve it, and our communities deserve it.”
