“I am proud to stand with my fellow legislators in speaking out for a woman’s right to make her own decisions about her health and future. Now 42 years after the historic Roe v. Wade decision, a majority of Americans agree the law of the land should be upheld. Despite this majority, many people continue to play politics with this issue, having negative consequences on women’s access to birth control and cancer screenings. I will continue this fight with my pro-choice colleagues.”
