Leader Lasinski on Signing of Federal Infrastructure Bill

LANSING, Mich., Nov. 15, 2021 — Earlier today, President Joe Biden signed a sweeping bipartisan infrastructure bill that will invest billions of dollars into roads, clean drinking water, high-speed internet and more, creating good-paying jobs for Michigan workers and building stronger, better communities. In response, House Democratic Leader Donna Lasinski (D-Scio Township) issued the following statement:

“Once again, Democrats are delivering for the people they represent. The billions of dollars coming to Michigan will allow us to make historic, transformational investments in our communities — from bringing reliable, affordable high-speed internet into more homes, to protecting the Great Lakes and clean water, to investing in electric vehicle technology to keep Michigan at the forefront of the automotive industry. Now, it’s on us in Lansing to appropriate this money swiftly so it can start working for communities across our great state.”
