Michigan’s New Auto Insurance Law

How do the changes affect you and your loved ones?

As you know, the Legislature passed sweeping auto no-fault insurance reforms in 2019. Many of those changes began to take effect last July, and more are slated to take effect in the coming months. That’s why I hope you will join me this Monday, May 24, from 11 a.m. to noon, along with my special guests from the Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS), to discuss the changes in the law and answer your questions.

You can join us on Zoom, and feel free to reach out to my office with your questions in advance, so I can make sure DIFS is prepared to answer them.

Rest assured, this won’t be the only time we talk about the changes in the law. I know how important this is, and I will be keeping an eye on the law as it is implemented and keep you updated.

Sincerely,

Brenda Carter
