Dear Neighbor,

I want to keep you informed about the work being done within our community and at the Capitol. I invite you to say tuned to this newsletter for important information and community events.

I am sponsoring a veterans “Fan out”  health and wellness event Saturday, March 23 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m, American Legion Post 20, 206 Auburn Road in Pontiac

I will be joined by special guests Dr. Althea V. Hankins, MD Internal Medicine; Coordinator H. Bill Maxey, former director of Veterans Affairs; and Post Commander Joe Carr, Cook-Nelson American Legion #20

We will be talking about resources for veterans, as well as how to navigate the Veterans Hospital system and ways to address and cope with post-traumatic stress.

I hope that you will join me for important information. Whether you are a veteran yourself or just want to know how you can help serve and honor those who fought for our country, I would love to have there. If you are unable to join us but would still like this information or need to talk to me about any concerns or questions you may have, please reach out to me by email or phone (517) 373-0475.

Serving the community is my first priority.

In Service,

State Representative Brenda Carter
