Upcoming Community Events

Dear Neighbor,

I hope this finds you well! As session picks up in Lansing and we work to finalize the budget, I want to ensure that I have a chance to hear what matters most to you. Please join me at one of my upcoming conversation hours to share your thoughts, questions, and concerns about our community: 

• Ice Cream in the Park: Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at John F. Kennedy Memorial Park (24501 Shroeder Ave. in Eastpointe) 

• Senior Center Coffee Hour: Monday, Oct. 4, from 10-11 a.m. at the St. Clair Shores Senior Activity Center (20100 Stephens in St. Clair Shores) 

I am excited to announce that my Senior Center Hours will be returning to their standard format, held the first Monday of every month at 10 a.m. through the end of 2021 (Nov. 1 and Dec. 6). Please continue to follow my e-newsletter or visit my Facebook page to view other upcoming community conversations, and as always, please do not hesitate to contact my office at kevinhertel@house.mi.gov if we can ever be of assistance. I hope to see you at a community event soon!
