Dear Friends,

When area residents approached me more than two years ago with safety concerns about U.S. 12 in Ypsilanti Township, I carried their message straight to the governor. I was able to secure a commitment of $8 million in discretionary funds to redesign the corridor with safety, walkability and beautification as the primary goals.

Now, with the bulk of the construction work nearing completion, I’ve scheduled another public meeting to keep our residents informed and up to date.

Mark your calendars!
