Dear Friends,
This past year has been difficult for everyone, but it has been especially difficult for children and young adults. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has closed schools, cancelled extra-curricular activities and disrupted daily routines. As we continue to navigate this public health crisis, it is crucial that we prioritize the mental health of students in our communities.
I’m pleased to let you know that I, along with special guest representatives from Livonia Public Schools and Clarenceville Schools, will be hosting a virtual Student Mental Health Resource Fair on Thursday, April 29, at 5 p.m. We will have an informative discussion about mental health and the resources each district has available to students. We will also be joined by another special guest: state Rep. and clinical psychologist, Dr. Felicia Brabec.
If you would like to attend, please fill out the registration form by clicking here and we will send you additional information to login. Of course, never hesitate to reach out to me by calling (517) 373-3920 or by email at LauriePohutsky@house.mi.gov if you have any questions.
Hope to see you soon! Laurie Pohutsky State Representative 19th House District |
