LANSING — State Rep. Rebekah Warren (D-Ann Arbor) was sworn in officially today as representative for the 55th House District for the 2019-2020 legislative session. The swearing-in ceremony marked the formal opening of Michigan’s 100th Legislature. In response, Rep. Warren issued the following statement:

“Michiganders are ready for leaders to set aside their differences, reach across party lines and negotiate to pass meaningful policies for working families. I am proud of my record of getting things done for Washtenaw County residents over the past 12 years, and I am ready to continue working hard to expand access to quality health care, invest in education, strengthen our economy and bring good-paying jobs to Michigan, defend our civil rights and liberties, and preserve our precious natural resources.”
