LANSING, Mich., July 11, 2022 — Organizers for the Reproductive Freedom for All petition delivered signatures to the Bureau of Elections today. The petition would amend the Michigan Constitution to ensure that no one goes to prison for providing safe medical care as well as ensure access to a broad range of reproductive health care, including abortion. State Rep. Regina Weiss (D-Oak Park) issued the following statement on the delivery of the signatures:

“I am in awe that the Reproductive Freedom for All petition collected over 750,000 signatures. This historic ballot initiative would protect the right to bodily autonomy for every person in our state. Abortions must remain safe and accessible for all.”
