Grand Ledge received a $1 million grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corp. (MEDC) to better utilize public space and enhance walkability. State Rep. Angela Witwer (Delta Township) issued the following statement on the award:

“As a small-business owner, I know how important attractive, walkable downtowns are to the vitality of local economies. This grant will make Grand Ledge even more attractive to small businesses, their customers and residents alike. It’s a great investment in the future of our community.”
