I am hosting a Financial Literacy Community Meeting with my colleagues and special guests, state Rep. Brenda Carter, the chair of the House Committee on Insurance and Financial Services; and state Sen. Mary Cavanagh, the chair of the Senate Finance, Insurance and Consumer Protection Committee. Rep. Carter has hosted these events all over the state this summer, including the Upper Peninsula.
