Hi Neighbors,

Please join me for my October Community Conversation on Monday, Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. at Rosa, 19180 Grand River Ave. in Detroit. I’ll be giving a legislative update including information on Theresa’s Law, legislation to improve the adult foster care system and the Land Tax Equity Act.

October, in addition to being Domestic Violence Awareness Month, is also Fire Prevention Month, and the Detroit Fire Department will give out free smoke detectors to those in attendance.
