Dear Friends and Neighbors,

It is important to me to know what your priorities and opinions are so that I can better represent you. I will be holding a “Yousef and You” forum tomorrow, where anyone in our district can come to get an update on legislative issues, ask questions, and participate in open discussion. I hope many of you will be able to join me there.

The next Yousef and You forum will be:

Saturday, Aug. 26

10 a.m.

RoosRoast Coffee, 1155 Rosewood St., Ann Arbor

I would also like to invite you to a town hall that I will be hosting to provide an update on the 1,4-dioxane plume on Wednesday, Aug. 30, from 7-9 p.m. at the Ann Arbor District Library Downtown, 343 S. Fifth Ave. in Ann Arbor. I will be joined by fellow Washtenaw County elected officials and special guests, Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (MI-12), state Reps. Adam Zemke (D-Ann Arbor), Donna Lasinski (D-Scio Township) and Ronnie Peterson (D-Ypsilanti), and state Sen. Rebekah Warren (D-Ann Arbor). Representatives from Attorney General Bill Schuette’s office, the Coalition for Action on Remediation of Dioxane (CARD), the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and other interested local officials will also be attending for you to ask questions.

Please feel free to contact my office at (517) 373-2577 or by email at YousefRabhi@house.mi.gov with your questions or concerns about this town hall, or state government in general. You can also visit my website at Rabhi.housedems.com for information about upcoming coffee hours, events in the district and to read about my work in Lansing.

I hope to see you soon!

Sincerely,

State Representative Yousef Rabhi

53rd House District
